Juice Cleanse Day 1
To start I felt satisfied with the juices I drank. When I felt hungry I had some warm water with lemon which helped fill me up quickly. I also stocked my fridge with chilled water infused with basil and strawberry. I went for an evening jog as I felt energetic and light.
Juice Cleanse Day 2
I slept so well that night. Often, I don’t feel rested but I woke up feeling refreshed and ready for the day. After drinking my beet juice, I didn’t crave any food and managed to have a super productive day at work. My lunchtime juice was needed and it made my mind felt clear and sharp. By the evening I began to felt a bit tired and lacking in energy so I had warm mint tea and went for a relaxing evening stroll before heading to bed early.
Juice Cleanse Day 3
I’ll admit I woke up feeling hungry but I quickly drank my breakfast juice and had a big glass of filtered water with cucumber and mint. I had a slow day at home and kept up the fluids. Using my free time I decided to plan my meals when I had finished my detox. Reading up on what to expect at the end of a cleanse. It’s important to only eat healthy foods such as fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds and lots of fluids. My last evening was surprisingly easy so I went for a 20-minute power walk before bed.
What I learned from my juice cleanse
1. It was so much easier to do than I thought.
2. It did help me lose weight over a short amount of time.
3. I actually really like mint tea now!
4. I would do it again!
5. Personally, for me, I couldn’t do any more than 5 days and these detox juices are only intended to be consumed for a short amount of time.
